Who Can Stay

Any family who has a child age 21 or younger that is being treated at an area hospital is eligible to stay at our Ronald McDonald House.

We do not take reservations because of the ever-changing needs of the families and area hospitals. Therefore, all families must be referred by their social worker, nurse or other hospital staff assigned to their case. That individual will then contact our House to see if there is an available room. If we do not have a room at that time, the family will be put on our waiting list and called as soon as something becomes available.

It costs $75 a night to operate the Ronald McDonald House program. To support the ongoing operations of the House program, we encourage, but do not require, guests to make a donation of $10 or whatever amount they are able, in order to continue House operations for future guests. However, no family is ever turned away due to the inability to contribute.
