2011 Red Nose Run

Red Nose Run

An impressive 650 runners registered for our 5th Annual Red Nose Run presented by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and in partnership with Feld Entertainment and the Colonial Life Arena. Our top corporate representations in our 10K and 5K races included 75 employees from BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, and 22 employees from Colonial Life! Orinthal Striggles of Columbia came in first in the 10K with 35:41, while Sara Powell was the first female in with a time of 39:31. Leading our 5K was 19-year-old Tom Ford with 16:45 and our first female in the 5K was Sunday Davis clocking in at 19:55. The greatest highlight of the event was Doctor Franklin Mason, 86, who crossed the finish line with a new South Carolina State Record. Overall, participants ranging from ages 5 to 86 joined us for some Red Nose Fun to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia, SC! Thank you to all of our runners, sponsors, supporters and volunteers for helping to make this such a great event! We hope you will all join us in 2012!
